The Cathedral Parish of the Immaculate Conception extends our congratulations on your engagement. We are blessed to have the opportunity to assist you during this sacred time of your life as you prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. When you commit yourselves to each other in Christian Marriage, in accordance with the laws of the Church, you administer a sacrament to each other. Marriage enables you to be a source of Divine Love, flowing from your love for each other and into the lives of your family. The sacred words and ritual of this Sacrament are the beginning of a great ministry of life-giving love, based on the Gospel, and dependent on the power of God’s grace at work within. May this time of preparation for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony be one of deepening love and understanding in your relationship with each other and with God.

La Parroquia Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción felicita a la pareja en su compromiso. Estamos bendecidos de tener la oportunidad de ayudarlos durante este tiempo sagrado cuando están preparándose a celebrar el Sacramento de Matrimonio. Cuando entran en el matrimonio cristiano, segun las leyes de la iglesia, se comparten el sacramento uno a otro. El matrimonio les da el poder ser una fuente de amor divino, de su amor para cada uno a las vidas de su familia. Las palabras sagradas y la celebración de este sacramento son un comienzo del gran ministro de amor para otros, basado en el evangelio y dependiente en el poder de la gracia de Dios todo el tiempo. Que este tiempo de preparación del Sacramento del Santo Matrimonio sea tiempo de su amor y que el entendimiento aumenta para el uno con el otro y para su Dios.
